If you do not see an invalid assignment in your DI/O config, expand your DI/O in a cntl start to something like 2048, check to see if there is old assignments past the DI/O range you currently have set. For example, if you have up to 512 DI/O configured,…

on the servo board is there EPROMs? If not, software had to have been loaded by disk. Even though Kawasaki robotics do not support AD controllers I find it hard to believe they would not sell old software they should have archived?

Wow, it's amazing that there has been a number of recent threads referencing the old A and AD systems.....
A testament to Kawasaki's longevity and reliability they build in to their robotic products.

I have posted in your other thread too.
I cannot recall ever loading data into the 1AE, only 1GE.
The 1AE was always upgraded up erasing the EEPROM and then using a reader/writer to burn the new servo software in.

So, the only routes I can see are:

kawasaki Robotics should be able to burn you the proper EPROMs for your robot and controller. If your board fails it is very unlikely it is the EPROMs and can transfer them to another board if you are careful. You just need to REALLY watch the legs so…
